This offers around the clock NHS self-help information, signposting to services, and a symptom checker. You can request sick notes & reports through this service also.

Dr Julie Walker has moved on to West Cumberland Hospital as part of her training programme, but she is due to return to us sometime next year.
Community Pharmacy Consultation Service
Don’t forget in some cases – you don’t always need a Doctor’s appointment for minor ailments. To save you waiting for the next routine appointment, we now have the facility to refer you directly to the Community Pharmacist who will see you and advise the best treatments for ailments. This referral will mean you will speak or see the Community Pharmacist the same day. Ask reception who can refer you through to the Community Pharmacy
PPG – Patient Participation Group
We have 3 new members in our PPG. The next meeting will take place in September 2022, a date is currently being arranged. If anyone is interested in joining this group, please contact Elaine Hurst, Practice Manager. The PPG is set up to see if there are any improvements to our service that could be made for example, opening times, surveys, family & friends tests etc.
Minor Operation Clinic surgery
Dr Stevenson holds a Minor Surgery Clinic monthly – you will need to consult with Dr
Stevenson before booking an appointment for the minor operation.
GP Survey results – 2022
The national GP Survey results were published for this year. As a team we welcome feedback from our patients. We were absolutely delighted to be the top surgery within Copeland. Thank you for all the congratulations we received, and we continue to strive to provide high quality health care for our patients using comprehensive evidence based treatments within a safe environment.
