Appointments

The practice runs a computerised appointment system.

Our telephone lines are open from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday.

Please Note: 8am to 8.30am is for EMERGENCY CALLS only, to book an appointment please call from 8.30am onwards.

You can also book an appointment by:

  • Using our appointment request form
  • Use your NHS account (on the NHS website or in the NHS app)
  • Telephone us on 01946 820 348, Monday to Friday, between 8.30am and 6.30pm
  • Visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist, Monday to Friday, between 8.30am and 6.30pm

 

If you are running late for an appointment

Please help us and other patients by letting us know as soon as you realise you will be late, we cannot guarantee that you will still be seen, but small adjustments to clinics can sometimes be made.

 

If you cannot attend your appointment

It is really helpful if you inform us as soon as you know you can no longer attend your appointment to enable re-allocation of your appointment slot.

To cancel your appointment:

  • use our appointment cancellation form
  • Use your NHS account (on the NHS website or in the NHS app).
  • reply CANCEL to your appointment reminder text message
  • phone us on 01946 820 348, Monday to Friday, when we are open
  • visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist, Monday to Friday, when we are open

 

Home Visits

If possible please try to telephone reception before 10:30am if you require a home visit.

You may only request a home visit if you are housebound or are too ill to visit the practice. Your GP will only visit you at home if they think that your medical condition requires it and will also decide how urgently a visit is needed.

You can be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.

 

If you need help when we are closed

If you need urgent medical advice between the hours of 6.30 pm – 8 am weekdays, during weekends or on Bank Holidays – please telephone 111.

NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.

Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.
