A spokesperson said: GP Practices are making plans in readiness for increasing demand. As part of this, from Monday 23 March Flatt Walks Health Centre will be designated for Copeland patients who have displayed symptoms of COVID-19, and who may need additional medical help.
It is important that people do not attend the Flatt Walks building as they usually would. This will allow the surgery to provide treatment to patients who need it.
Patients can still contact the surgery by phone as normal, and they will be directed as appropriate.
